We now hit the big boys toys, the FARMASTER 12 tonne with 4.8m long deck and 8 stud axles with bigger 22.5 truck size rims has been a really good seller and suits farmers with a bit more horse power 140 to 170hp. The 8 stud axles with 385 truck tyre will run all day in dry hot conditions carting a good big load or fitted with the optional grain bin makes an ideal load during the grain harvest, also available on 500mm wide floatation’s for wet silage harvesting or carting bales in wet conditions with the added bale extension giving a real big load is great.. with a bigger ram it offers capacity, strength, reliability, function and pricing. Weighing in at around 3.5 tonne tare weight its very strong will last for years.

These trailers are fitted from new with many features that we believe you will appreciate. However, if you need something extra you only need to ask, we love adding things that make your life easier!

Description

Thank you for considering Farmec for your trailer requirements, we are pleased to be able to offer you our extensive range of locally built tip trailers. These trailers are capable of many years of reliable operation, they are fast becoming the trailer that set the standard. We are pleased that our customers appreciate the features that we added following over 30 years of development work with both customers and our engineers.

What we have aimed to achieve is:

Features

  • A fast-tipping body via Italian made 5 stage telescopic cylinder that goes to 60° will ensure even sticky loads will tip.
  • Full RHS chassis with single drawbar member gives high strength and maximum turning circle.
  • The 2-piece sides with center posts are hinged and easily removable with a tailgate that lifts off its hinges allowing the trailer to be used without the rear door, as there are corner sockets in the deck that locate the tailgate posts for securing the sides.
  • This is a very functional trailer for any operation, many of these are sold with a bale extension of 1.2m that neatly secures into the top deck members, this now gives 6m of floor area that allows up to 14 round bales to be loaded.
  • A particular feature is that the headboard can lift out of its location sockets. Bolsters can then be fitted to the 4 corner sockets making the flatbed ideal for poles/pipe transport. The mechanical auto opening door opens as the trailer tips, or this can be hydraulic if preferred. Spreading chains ensuring the right amount of material is spread.
  • The option of the swing round tailgate is very popular as it’s so easy to use and very user friendly. It can be locked down the side whilst in transport.
  • The tandem axle has Italian 80mm axles that oscillate on a 75mmØ solid pin with greaseable bushes and there’s more it is 50mm off centre which helps to prevent speed wobble and even more we fabricate a 3° positive camber in the tandem to assist with tyre wear and longevity after its carted a million tonnes for you.
  • Wheel options are either 385/65R x 22.5 as standard or 500 / 45 x 22.5 as the flotation option.
