This is another great trailer with a couple of quirks ! It is basically 400mm longer than the 8t at 4.4m deck which in itself is not a lot of difference however the main reason for purchase would be that this trailer can be fitted with a 500mm wide floatation tyre which has found favour in the wet conditions and with customers that want to fit a silage bin.
Great tipping capacity with a bigger 5 stage ram it offers strength, reliability, function and competitive pricing, ideally suited to 130 to 160hp again in the dairy farmer tractor bracket. Phenomenally stable due to low centre of gravity, extremely wide footprint and very simple friendly operation. Weighing in at approx 3 tonne tare weight its very strong will last for 30 years easy.
The Trailers are fitted from new with many features that we believe you will appreciate. However, if you need something extra special you only need to ask, we love adding things that make your life easier!

Features
The Farmaster range of trailers has been designed for general farm use, this means unique features are common to all models. We believe you are making the right choice and here’s why:
A fast-tipping body via Italian made telescopic cylinder that goes to 60° will ensure even sticky loads will tip.
Full RHS chassis with single drawbar member gives high strength and maximum turning circle.
The 2-piece sides with centre post are hinged and easily removable with a tailgate that lifts off its hinges allowing the trailer to be used without the rear door, as there are corner sockets in the deck that locate the tailgate posts for securing the sides.
This is a very functional trailer for any operation, many of these are sold with a bale extension of 1.2m that neatly secures into the top deck members, this now gives 5.6m of floor area that allows up to 13 round bales to be loaded.
A particular feature is that the headboard can lift out of its location sockets. Bolsters can then be fitted to the 4 corner sockets making the flatbed ideal for poles/pipe transport.
The mechanical auto opening door opens as the trailer tips, or this can be hydraulic if preferred, and fitted spreading chains ensuring the right amount of material is spread.
We offer as an option the very popular swing round tailgate to all FARMASTER trailers. It is so easy to use, making life easier as it can be locked down the side whilst in transport. There is no need to remove it when not in use.
The Tandem axle has Italian 70mm axles (80mm option) that oscillate on a 75mmØ solid pin with greaseable bushes and there’s more it is 50mm off centre which helps to prevent speed wobble and even more we fabricate a 3° positive camber in the tandem to assist with tyre wear and longevity after its carted a million tonnes for you.
Wheel options are either 400/60 x 15.5 – 18ply as standard or 500 / 50 x 17 as the flotation option.
