Features
► All of the 2-bale trailing ‘HL’ models are uniquely self-loading. The forks have been designed to ‘stab’ the bale with the replaceable forged tines 150mm off the ground allowing for easy removal of the wrap. The loading tine is mounted to a high load 3½” bore loading ram which allows for all tractors to load heavy bales. The self-loading forks allow for a 2nd bale to be transported to the waiting stock.
► All trailing 2 bale feeders have a variable height tow-eye which ensures that the loading tines penetrate the bale at the optimum angle so now the tractor drawbar height won’t matter if you use different tractors.
► The 2” pitch chain with welded RHS floor bar not only facilitates bi-directional feed, but it also allows for smooth running and a low torque requirement to drive and allows for feeding off either side which is ideal on hilly country or for rota cut bales that fall to pieces. With 6,800lbs of break strength this chain has certainly proven its worth.
► All drives consist of 40mm bearings and full-length shafts, whilst the fully welded chassis 125 x 75 x 5mm section RHS is the basis of the heavy-duty construction. The ‘A’ frame drawbar gives massive strength and ensures no cracking even after thousands of bales. A 70mm jack is also fitted for the operator to attach with. Please note that the A frame has been filled with a 2” steel mesh which makes for a simple ‘wrap’ holder rather than the tractor cab floor…
► All Farmec feeders are bi-directional feed, so unlike other brands you are able to feed on either side on the machine, with the fast tease un-rolling with the swath, or slower teasing against the roll. The shredder ensures that if you get even the tightest of crusty bales this spiked drum will tear through the material. Fitted with a none blocking self-sweeping comb.
► Non rust 1.6mm Corten 350G steel floor with 4 x rub bars complements the design as do features such as – 2 wire hoses – high torque American Parker hydraulic motor – large axle and floatation wheels up to 400/60’s and all 40mm heavy duty shaft bearings are now covered – string tray in drawbar and full mesh headboard with hose holder…
