Features
These feeders are very simple feeders to operate, with only 2 sets of remotes required one to load and one to feed out. Specifically designed for large herd farmers or customers feeding over 5 bales a day, these feeders are state-of-the-art, designed hand in hand with farmers requirements, with over 20 years of field experience.
The R4 feeder is designed to handle all types of material and presents the crop to the animals in a condition that you the farmer will be satisfied with. With bi-directional feed from the endless chain, allowing the operator to maximise the volume of feed delivered over a certain distance. Whether you want to feed it out as fast as possible or just supplement feed with a fine row, the R4 feeder will be able to provide this day-in, day-out with just about any skill level operating the tractor.

(i) All Farmec feeders are bi-directional feed, so unlike other brands you are able to feed on either side of the machine, this is extremely useful for controlling feed out volume.
(ii) All floor chains are 3” pitch as standard, this has reduced motor torque requirements as well as increased strength. The hollow pin has allowed for on the spot repairs to be made if required and is sourced at a very competitive replacement cost.
(iii) 530cc shuttle gearbox drive motor transfers torque via a 4:1 ratio, this ensures even the heaviest of bales will transfer to the feed out chamber. The floor chamber is a 530cc motor direct drive.
Hydraulic requirements for standard feeders:-
Chamber chain = 1 x double remote
Shuttle pusher = 1 x double remote
