Features
The ‘Contractor’ range of trailers is designed ‘super’ heavy duty (based on what some manufactures call heavy duty). These trailers are designed to shift 16 tonnes of material every 15 minutes 12 hours a day 7 days a week. The CT range all have fast tipping bodies, via the multi staged rams that give 60 degrees of tip with minimum oil usage.
The full RHS chassis with single beam drawbar member gives high strength and maximum turning circle. All of these trailers are sold with heavy duty walking beam tandem axle, oscillating on a continuous 75mm high tensile pin with 11 easy grease-able bushes centrally lubricated as standard. The pin is positioned 50mm off centre to reduce speed wabble with high-speed tractor.
With 2 choices of body 1) mono lift-off one-piece sides are for customers that require the flexibility of being able to reduce the trailer to a flatbed for those ‘other’ jobs 2) fully welded monocoque (bathtub) for continuous bulk haulage work. Tailgates are remove-able on both body types and whether a full hydraulic up and over door is fitted or just a standard top hinged door or the double swing type door.
The silage kit option is available for customers wishing to use the trailer for the harvest periods, hauling chopped silage from the paddock to the clamp. Available as a one piece lift off kit or individual bolt together panels. It is fitted with a mesh window at the front that folds (optionally) down, and full rear doors with one third mesh centrally positioned for ease of reversing empty.
Wheel options are as standard 500/60r x 22.5 for floatation or the 445/65r x 22.5 for highspeed quarry work. However, we also offer for a big footprint the 560/45R x 22.5 and the bigger 560/60r x 22.6 for real soft application…
