Thank you for considering this Farmec Jumbo Feeder for your feed-out tasks. This is one of an extensive range of tried and tested machines, sold throughout New Zealand. Our feeders are the result of years of collaboration with farmers and engineers – so you can be assured that you are investing in the best available on the market.
What we have aimed to achieve is:
give a feasible alternative to feeding big numbers of bales per day
a functional machine that exceeds your expectation in the field
that engineering, design and ascetics prove to give you maximum longevity
that the machine is simple to operate but totally functional in operation
a price that ensures the unit is competitive whilst considering spec for spec
that the optional equipment ensures all customer requirements are covered
The R5 Jumbo Feeder is designed to handle all types of material and presents the crop to the animals in a condition that you will be satisfied with. The teasing shredder is ideal on tight bales, whereas the high curve suits chopped bales the best. It is also capable of handling other feed products like silage, square bales or beet. Whether you want to feed it out as fast as possible or just supplement feed with a fine row the R5 Jumbo Feeder will provide this day in day out with just about any skill level operating the tractor.

Features
These feeders are very simple to operate, with only 2 sets of remotes required. Designed for large herd farmers or customers who feed large quantities of bales per day. All Farmec feeders are bi-directional feed, so unlike with other brands you can feed on either side of the machine. This is extremely useful for controlling the feed out volume. Large American Parker 530cc motors ensure even the heaviest of bales will get fed out and probably last the lifetime of the feeder.
Here are some of the unique features summarized:
