These bigger trailers are less popular but as horsepower increase we get more enquiry for them, this FT14 has a 5.2m deck and the bale extension at 1.5m will give a 6.7m ideal for the larger round bales. Deck width has been 2.44m over the years but now we offer the full sheet width at 2.52m as standard. So for farmers with a bit more horsepower 150 to 180hp and if fitted with a grain or silage bin during harvesting then the extra capacity is ideal. Fitted with the bigger braked 8 stud 90mm axles and 22.5 truck size rims. Also available on 500mm wide floatation’s and fitted with a bigger ram it offers capacity, strength, reliability, function and pricing. Weighing in at around 3.9 tonne tare weight its very strong will last for years.
These trailers are fitted from new with many features that we believe you will appreciate. However, if you need something extra you only need to ask, we love adding things that make your life easier!

Features
The Farmaster range of trailers has been designed for general farm use, this means unique features are common to all models. We believe you are making the right choice and here’s why:
A fast-tipping body via Italian made telescopic cylinder that goes to 60° will ensure even sticky loads will tip.
With a strong fabricated 250 x 100mm chassis with single drawbar member gives high strength and maximum turning circle.
The 2-piece sides with centre post are hinged and easily removable with a tailgate that lifts off its hinges allowing the trailer to be used without the rear door, as there are corner sockets in the deck that locate the tailgate posts for securing the sides.
This is a very functional trailer for any operation, many of these are sold with a bale extension of 1.5m that neatly secures into the top deck members, this now gives 6.7m of floor area that allows up to 16 round bales to be loaded.
A particular feature is that the headboard can lift out of its location sockets. Bolsters can then be fitted to the 4 corner sockets making the flatbed ideal for poles/pipe transport.
The mechanical auto opening door opens as the trailer tips, or this can be hydraulic if preferred. Spreading chains ensuring the right amount of material is spread.
Also consider the option of the swing round tailgate. It is very popular as it’s so easy to use and very user friendly. It can be locked down the side whilst in transport.
The Tandem axle has Italian 90mm axles that oscillate on a 75mmØ solid pin with greaseable bushes and there’s more it is 50mm off centre which helps to prevent speed wobble and even more we fabricate a 3° positive camber in the tandem to assist with tyre wear and longevity after its carted a million tonnes for you.
Wheel options are either 385/65R x 22.5 as standard or 500 / 60r x 22.5 as the flotation option.
