Description

Thank you for considering Farmec TC2.5 for your compact trailer requirement. Please find an “in between” size that we have added to the range simply because we were asked for it. Some customers with 25- 35hp compact tractors found the 2t too small but the 3t too big, so we simply halved the difference and created a 2.5t model. With all the same features and robust design this 600kg tare weight trailer is heavy enough for arduous work but still small enough for small tractors to handle safely and easily.

What we have aimed to achieve is:

Features

  • The Compact range of trailers are designed for everyday general use, with a fast-tipping body that goes to 55° which will ensure even sticky loads will tip.
  • Full RHS chassis with single drawbar member gives high strength and maximum turning circle.
  • The sides are hinged (& removable) with a tailgate that lifts off its hinges allowing the trailer to be used without the rear door, as there are corner sockets in the deck that locate the tailgate posts for securing the sides. This makes it a very diverse trailer for any operation.
  • A particular feature is that the headboard can lift out of its location sockets. Bolsters can then be fitted to the 4 corner sockets making the flatbed ideal for pole transport.
  • Please consider the list of options that add to the functionality and ease of use including the mechanical auto opening tailgate is extremely popular, this inexpensive but effective option allows the tailgate to open at about 15° and has the aperture fixed by spreading chains (as option) ensuring the right amount of material is spread.
  • Wheel options are 10.0 / 75 x 15.3 – 12ply 6H as standard wide, ideal for sports courses at 250mm wide – trailer maximum speed is 30 km/h and not for road use.
