• Fitted with the unique rota shredder and a cleaning comb, this feeder offers aggressive action on tight bales. Fitted on the HL with a heavy mesh headboard with RHS frame keeps the product contained.
• All the 2 bale trailing models are uniquely self-loading. The forks have been designed to ‘cradle’ the bale with the tines sliding under the bale allowing for easy removal of the wrap. Alternatively, the HL model has tines that stab the bale. The loading frame is mounted to a quality hydraulic cylinder which allows for all tractors to load heavy bales. The self-loading forks allow a second bale to be transported on the same load – hence a 2-Bale Trailing Feeder.
• We have added a variable height tow-eye which ensures that the loading tines get the optimum angle under the bale, so the tractor drawbar height won’t matter.
• The 2” pitch chain with welded RHS floor bar not only facilitates bi-directional feed, but it also allows for smooth running and a low torque requirement to drive. It also allows for feeding off either side, which is ideal on hilly country or for rota cut bales that fall to pieces. With 6,800lbs of break strength this chain has certainly proven its worth.
• All drives consist of 40mm bearings and full-length shafts, whilst the fully welded chassis 125 x 75 x 5mm section RHS is the basis of the heavy-duty construction. The ‘A’ frame drawbar gives massive strength and ensures no cracking even after thousands of bales. Fitted with a 70mm jack stand for the operator to attach with (landing leg is optional).
• A non-rust 1.6mm Corten 350G steel floor with 4 x rub bars complements the design. As do features such as 2 wire hoses, high torque American Parker hydraulic motor, large axle and floatation wheels.
