The FARMASTER 6 tonner is another great selling trailer with a 3.6m deck length and ideal if in real steep country as it’s not too heavy at 1.7 tonnes and offers a good load and ease of handling with tractors from 80 to 120hp depending on the hills! Very stable due to low centre of gravity, extremely wide footprint and very user-friendly in operation generally sold with a tandem axle but we do offer this as a single axle as well.

Features
The Farmaster range of trailers has been designed for general farm use, this means unique features are common to all models. We believe you are making the right choice and here’s why:
A fast-tipping body via Italian made telescopic cylinder that goes to 60° will ensure even sticky loads will tip.
Full RHS chassis with single drawbar member gives high strength and maximum turning circle.
The 1-piece sides are hinged and easily removable with a tailgate that lifts off its hinges allowing the trailer to be used without the rear door, as there are corner sockets in the deck that locate the tailgate posts for securing the sides.
This is a very functional trailer for any operation, many of these are sold with a bale extension of 1.2m that neatly secures into the top deck members, this now gives 4.8 m of floor area that allows up to 9 round bales to be loaded.
A particular feature is that the headboard can lift out of its location sockets. Bolsters can then be fitted to the 4 corner sockets making the flatbed ideal for poles/pipe transport.
This is a very functional trailer for any operation, they are fitted as standard with rope rails to tie the load on with ease and a simple but effective rear door locking system that opens and closes as the body tips, spreading chains then ensuring the right amount of material is being spread.
Please consider the option of the swing round tailgate. It is very popular as it’s so easy to use and very user friendly. It can be locked down the side whilst in transport so there is no need to remove it when not in use.
The Tandem axle has Italian 60mm axles that oscillate on a 50mmØ solid pin with greaseable bushes and there’s more we fabricate a 3° positive camber in the tandem to assist with tyre wear and longevity.
Wheel options are either 11.5 x 15.3 as standard or 12.5/80 x 15.3 as the flotation option or we can go to 400’s if really needed.
