A simple to use and easy to operate grass topper that will last the next 20 years with minimum maintenance. Fitted with many features that will ensure a long life even in the roughest of situations. The 7-footer is available with a 75hp as standard or 90hp gearbox option getting more into farming than lifestyles as it needs a larger tractor to lift the 640kg tare weight and the weight does hang out the back when travelling. All made in NZ with spare parts available at all farm outlets nationwide or via our website.

The 7-Foot Topper Mower ‘TM7’ comes with a 200 mm offsetting headstock, a PTO shaft and adjustable skids from 25 mm to 125 mm.

Features

Some of the features built into your Farmec Topper are unique to us and are not available on cheaper import products. For example:

  • 200mm offsetable headstock for mowing close to fence line
  • Heavy steel deck 5mm with 16mm gearbox base prevents any torsional distortion (we see a lot twisted)
  • Web sling top link support doesn’t damage the paint and looks great
  • Deck front and rear doubler plate prevent damage if you run into a fixed object
  • variable cutting height 1” to 5” – our skidders are strong and fitted with a replaceable wear strip
  • Gearbox spline bolt is fully protected from damage by a full-length blade plate protector
  • Blades can be sharpened with a grinder and are big strong and last long – fitted with a replaceable wear collar
  • Blades only swing 45° when they hit an object as a special stop is fitted
